MARKET REPORT FOR JANUARY

Wonderful product this month - so such a shame the capital’s kitchens are closed. Best of British is the Yorkshire forced rhubarb, along with the hardy brassicas including January King, sprout tops and some beautiful variegated kales.

Seen our videos on Instagram? We’ve been heavily into citrus in recent weeks, including Blood oranges, Chocolate oranges and Seville.

From France, we have had deliveries of top notch white asparagus from Panach, Globe artichokes and Tulameen raspberries.

First Moscatel grapes from Chiles, along with excellent figs.

Italian lines include the radicchios, Roma artichokes and the first agretti.
