MARKET REPORT FOR NOVEMBER

We are still delivering during lockdown and wish all the best to our customers during this difficult time.

Excellent citrus, including bergamot, kumquats, leafy lemons, leafy oranges. Don’t forget the tip top apples and pears from France’s top grower Vassout.

Excellent month for radicchios, including Tardivo and Castelfranco. Other Italian lines include cime di rapa, puntarelle, Thema and spiky artichokes and Tokyo turnips.

All the French roots still strong, including salsify, chervil root, parsley root, leafy celeriac. Jerusalem artichokes from English growers as well. This is the month that sprouts and tops get going, joining the other brassicas. Rainbow chard is a good buy. Full range of squashes on hand, including enormous Muscade.

For something different, try kaki fruit - including Vanilla kaki. Chestnuts still available.

Dates and Agen prunes are also good this month - we stock the Trias brand of prunes, which is second to none.
