Fruit highlights include persimmon, quince and large pomegranate. South American stone fruit just starting. South American cherries. Vassout pears are superb.

Roots include British Jerusalem artichokes, chervil root, helianthus, Oca de Perou, nasturtium roots. It’s a good time for artichokes, including spiky.
