Gorgeous produce flooding in this month and onto the tables of London’s finest restaurants. Fantastic stone fruit - we only deal with the top marques. Strawberries tasting fabulous, including English from our friend Annabel and frais de bois. Gooseberries starting now. English raspberries on form.

Asparagus still going strong. From Rungis, green almonds, pink garlic, full range of melons. Italian borlotti, agretti, Tokyo turnips.

Tomatoes simply terrific. UK field rhubarb for the patisserie chefs. Morels and ceps best of the wild mushrooms. Chive flowers look dazzling on the plate.
