Our special feature this month is on English strawberries, specifically the amazing fruit from Annabel’s in Yorkshire. Other highlights this month include wet garlic, morels, graffiti aubergines and wild Kombava limes, which have plenty of flavour and juice. French outdoor tomatoes have started from the South of France. French kiwis are coming to the end of the season, but quality is still superb. Lovely Corne de Boeuf peppers from Spain are a personal favourite, with their distinctive shape and vivid colours.
